Kate Moss is Queened!

         Kate Moss covers May's issue for Bazaar, wearing two different McQueen dresses for a double cover issue. One is an older Alexander McQueen dress by McQueen himself in which she wore in her cameo in a hologram for one of his fashion shows, and the other is a Sarah Burton newer design and I think it's beautiful that he is still represented and not forgotten as he was such a big influence in fashion but also I think this is a beautiful way of saying McQueen will still live on. I'm purchasing both! Buys yours as soon as it hits stands. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Alexander McQueen Fall RTW 2011

Im still not sure if Sarah Burton has totally got the concept and creativity that Alexander McQueen had, but the collection is still gorgeous and definitely gives her inspiration:

"I was thinking about an ice queen strong, noble and romantically powerful" - Sarah Burton

So with this said; beautifully done with such details but I still thinks she needs to prove that she can live up to the beautifully minded and uniquely edgy concepts of Alexander McQueen ;) I'm rooting for her!

Sarah Burton did a promising job on bringing forth the legacy of Alexander McQueen, her first runway show for the line since the man behind the brilliance passed away has been shown. She definitely had a big day considering everyone was waiting to see what came out on the runway, and if it would be worthy enough to be called an Alexander McQueen line, and I.......... actually approve. She said her new approach to the line was going to add more femininity, and she did but also kept it so Alexander Mcqueen, here are some of my fav. pieces from the line. I can only hope to heads this direction for the rest of runway shows, Alexander McQueen will be missed.

McQueen Memorial

Beloved friends and family of Alexander McQueen gathered in Memorial at St. Paul Cathedral in London, along the list of friends were Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Bjork (Who sang at the Cathedral) and Ann Wintour who also gave a heartfelt speech at the Memorial saying: 

     

      As a child he loved nothing more than sitting on the roof top and watching the birds fly by. He showed us everything was possible, dreams could become reality, but he left us with an even more exceptional legacy, a talent that soared like the birds of his childhood above us all.

Beautifully said and so true, I love Alexander McQueen so much, he is my every inspiration and he lives everyday in memorial in every creative thought and process I have, he made me love designing and he will be greatly missed!

This is to be believed to be the last dress that Alexander McQueen touched before his passing! If only you could know what goes through a genius mind when creating such a beautiful Garment? R.I.P. Alexander McQueen.
